We start with an 11 lb chunk of 4140 chromoly steel and whittle it down to 1.4 lbs of CNC-cut 3d contours. The finished product is then heat treated for extreme toughness and high yield strength, and finally Nickel plated for corrosion resistance and a great finish. The end result is probably the prettiest part you'll almost never see once installed on your FR-S or BRZ. However, it will also be the toughest. These forks will stand up to the abuse of drag racing or drifting against any heavy-duty clutch!
