DIF Water Pump Deletion Plate - Nissan S13/S14 KA24DE

ThisDIF Water Pump Deletion Plate allows for the integration of an electric water pump into the KA24DE engine.

For extremely high revving engines a more consistent water pump is often recommended. When engines rev' extremely fast their water pumps tend to also rev' at correlating (similar) speeds. The excessively high rotation of the water pump can sometimes lead to cavitation, orthe formation and then immediate implosion of cavities in a liquid - i.e. small liquid-free zones ("bubbles") - that are the consequence of forces acting upon the liquid. These bubbles, after prolonged exposure, can harm the engine block or pump propellers. It is because of this electric water pumps are used. They allow for a stable flow of coolant and ignore completeley the rpm's a vehicle is going through. Additionally, an electric water pump reduces parasitic drag on the engine since it would be free of another pulley, ultimately gaining more horsepower.

TheDIF Water Pump Deletion Plate is a perfect compliment to an electric water pump because it will become necessary to block the hole where the pulley-based water pump used to be. This deletion plate is made with extreme precision and fits KA24DE engines perfectly. It is also anodized in Silver for a cleaner, more aesthetic look. All hardware is supplied for an easy install.
